RRSBDC's First STeps to Starting a Business Seminars
Fredericksburg's Seminar
This First Steps Seminar acquaints the attendees with some of the basics to consider in starting a business and answers the questions: "Where do I begin?" and "What should I do first?" Self-evaluation, determination of need and feasibility are emphasized. An overview of regulations, financing and an introduction to the business planning process is presented.

| Fee | There is a non refundable material fee of $20 per business. This means that if you want a partner to attend with you it is still $20, but, your partner must also complete a registration form and return it to our office. There is a line on the lower right hand side of the registration form were you can put the name of the person who will be attending with you. Money and registration form/s must be in the Fredericksburg Office on or before the deadline date. Make your check or money order payable to "RRSBDC". Mail your fee and registration form/s to: RRSBDC, 121 University Blvd, Fredericksburg, VA 22406 . Please do not send cash, if you want to pay with cash, come to the Fredericksburg Office during office hours, 8 a.m. to 11 a.m. and 1 p.m. to 5 p.m. Monday thru Friday. | ||

Warsaw's Seminar
This Seminar will provide the basic of self evaluation, the idea, Entrepreneurship, defining the need, determining the feasibility, and what actions are necessary. Topical areas within these broad areas will include analytical methods, research sources, the legal forms of business, record keeping, laws regulations and policies, and a discussion on the value and importance of Business Plans and Financial Analysis.

The registration form for the "First Steps to Starting a Business Seminar" contains the dates the seminars are to be held as well as the deadline dates for registering. If there is a "W" in from of the date that means it will be held at the "Warsaw Campus" a "G" in front means it will be held at the "Glenns Campus".
