Communication and technology are in constant motion. Our bachelor’s program in communications and digital studies teaches adults – and tech-savvy teens – to share ideas in a media-driven world. A cutting-edge curriculum targets emerging technology and teaches you to create powerful messaging, design multi-media campaigns, and build a digital identity.
Areas of Study
Pair core courses in communications and digital studies with an exciting array of electives, including Introduction to Film Studies; Games and Culture; Approaches to Video Art; Social Media; The Graphic Novel; and History of the Information Age.
The communication and digital studies major requires 36 credits in two core groups – 15 credits in communications, 9 credits in digital studies – plus 12 elective credits.
Scholarships are awarded by the department of English, Linguistics, and Communications.
