Can't find the help you need on this site?  Here are some additional resources available to you to get help with Blackboard:

  • The Help Desk 540.654.2255 is the first place to go whenever you have a technology related question that you need help answering.  The TAC has a variety of online resources and telephone personnel available to answer your questions, and if they can't, they can refer you to the proper person or department to help solve your problem.
  • The Instructional Technology Specialist (ITS) assigned to each academic building is another resource.  The ITS is knowledgeable about Blackboard and can answer many questions or help solve problems you might be having, whether you are student, faculty or staff.  ITSs are also knowledgeable about Blackboard "Best Practices," so they can help Faculty to create the most effective Blackboard resources for their students.
  • The Director of Training can also provide assistance to you. Feel free to contact her (plowery@umw.edu).
  • If you would like to email a Blackboard question, feel free to use the "Comments or Questions?" link at the bottom of any page to send an email message to the Blackboard support team.
