SPECIAL DOWNTIME NOTICE:

Before the start of the fall semester, DoIT must coordinate the critical relocation, disconnection and reconnection of cables, outlets and hardware in the CGPS enterprise equipment room. This work will require a temporary shut-down of all servers housed at that location; Banner, the OneU portal, Blackboard and the University web site will be unavailable the time that the work is being done.

This repair work is scheduled for Tuesday, August 15th from 5:00 AM until 2:00 PM.

January 8th, 2006 at 7:00 AM: Blackboard will be unavailable until noon today for preventative maintenance in preparation for the upcoming term. We apologize for any inconvenience.

January 2nd, 2006 at 6:15 AM: The system is again available for all users. Please report any troubles to blackbrd@umw.edu.

January 1st, 2006 at 8:00 AM: The system will be unavailable during the next 24 hours in order for a complete off-line to be done. Please be sure to check this page for updates during this downtime.

December 28th at 1:15 PM Update: The system is now available for all users. Please remember there is another scheduled downtime from 8:00 AM January 1st, 2006 untl 8:00 AM January 2nd.

December 25th at 10:45 AM Update: Due to some unforseen circumstances with the Blackboard updates, we have had to delay the return of the system to the users until close of business on December 28th, 2005. Again, we apologize for any inconvenience.

December 22nd at 7:15 PM Update: The administrators have been working all day on Blackboard and at this point we are currently on schedule to turn the system back on by the end of the day December 26th.
