Microsoft Outlook & Entourage for Faculty and Staff
Note for new faculty: Your UMW e-mail account is available to you after a day or two after attending employee orientation in the Office of Human Resources. For security reasons, passwords may not be distributed via e-mail or phone; you may get your account information right from your desk. See the web page about Finding Your Net ID and Changing Your Password to get your account information.
Users have the choice of accessing Outlook by using client software that resides on the desktop, or by using a browser to connect to a web-based interface. With web-based software, you can access Outlook from any computer that has an internet connection.
Note: Unless connected via VPN, all off-campus access needs to be through the Outlook Web Interface. Click here for information about setting up VPN (UMW Login required)>
