Eaglemail on Live@EDU

Eaglemail on Live@EDU is the email system for students at UMW. It is entirely Web-based.

What is Live@EDU?

Live@EDU is an integrated suite of applications made available to institutions of higher learning by Microsoft Corporation. Hosted on Microsoft systems, Live@EDU includes, but is not limited to, email, file storage and sharing, instant messaging, texting, blogging, directory and mapping services. UMW's Eaglemail system is hosted at Live@EDU.

With Live@EDU, students are granted 10 GB of inbox storage and are able to send mail attachments up to 20 MB in size. Students have the ability to use a variety of mobile devices to access email and can choose from a number of email client software products, such as Microsoft Outlook or Entourage, for email access. Additionally, the Live@EDU email address will remain active for life, providing a consistent point for contact and communication.
