Skill Areas
Four skill areas that comprise this requirement are each assessed independently through hands-on exercises involving the use of a computer. The table below depicts how students demonstrate proficiency in each of the four areas:

Each student must create a spreadsheet involving calculations that fulfills at least 75% of the specified learning objectives. |

Web-based quiz. |
| Library and Information Literacy | Locate topically relevant information electronically from the campus library and Internet. |
English 101 |
Each student must complete 8 short online Information Literacy quizzes and each quiz must be passed independently, with a cumulative score of at least 75% (34 total true/false, multiple choice and short answer questions). |

Completing the Requirement
Students may satisfy this requirement by attending a training session
or by completing the assignments independently.
