Calling for Technology Help

There is one place to call at the University when you need help: the Help Desk. Memorize the number above (dial only extension 2255 if you are on campus).

The Technology Assistance Center is the clearinghouse for all technology-related questions. In helping you solve your problem, they may walk you through some steps on the phone, point you towards online resources that can help, or, if needed, find someone to visit you and give you assistance. The people that you meet may be from any area of the Department of Information Technologies (DoIT) --it all depends on the nature of your problem. The specialists in the TAC know whom to call, and can save you time and confusion trying to figure out who on campus can help you.

So, except on move-in day, where DoIT "S.W.A.T." Teams will be in the residence halls to help, call the Help Desk at 654-2255.
