Help Desk Student Aide
Help Desk Student Aide personnel are made up of part-time student aides. Each student aide is responsible for providing technical support to the students and faculty/staff members. As both a student and a staff member, the student aide must maintain the difficult balance between academic responsibilities and the responsibilities of the position.
RTA (Resident Technology Assistant)
The Resident Technology Assistance program is an extension of the Help Desk support mechanism of the Department of Information Technologies (DoIT) at the University of Mary Washington. Each RTA is responsible for providing technical support to the students of the assigned residence hall(s) and their assigned academic building(s). As both student and a staff member, the RTA must maintain the proper balance between academic responsibilities and the responsibilities of the position.
