Web Sites for Officially Recognized Student Clubs and Organizations
Officially recognized student clubs and organizations have the following resources available for creating Web sites:
- Network login and id which includes:
- 10MB of server space on the students.umw.edu server which includes non-public shared space and a "public.www" directory which will contain your Web site (i.e.students.umw.edu/~orgname)
- An email account with your organization's name (i.e. orgname@umw.edu)
- 10MB of server space on the students.umw.edu server which includes non-public shared space and a "public.www" directory which will contain your Web site (i.e.students.umw.edu/~orgname)
- A link to official Student Organization Web sites from appropriate pages on the upper-levels of the UMW Web Site and the Office of Student Activities Web Site. Links to officially recognized Student Clubs are provided through the Office of Student Activities Web Site only.
- Training available through the Division of Teaching and Learning Technologies for those students who will be creating and/or maintaining the club or organization's site.
Every student club or organization must be aware of the University Graphic Standards, the Network and Computer Use Policy, and our Copyright Statement.
