The University of Mary Washington offers a broad array of training programs for faculty and staff. Programs are geared towards assisting employees with day-to-day business, as well as career development skills. At present, training programs are offered in the following areas:

• Employee Development: Training for professional development.
  
• Technology: Using technology in day-to-day business and in the classroom.
  
• Safety: Sponsored by the Office of Environmental Health & Safety, these courses are required for all employees to learn about workplace safety. The office also provides certification training for those working with hazardous materials.
  
• Banner: Our administrative information systems, Banner touches all areas of the University, from online accounting tools to Web registration.
