File MenuThe file menu contains standard Banner 7 and Oracle functions. Some of the menu items let you call another form, job or QuickFlow.  When you exit the called object you return to the object that you were previously using.  It also displays the last ten forms a user has accessed.

Direct Access displays the Direct Access form, GUAPARM, which is used to access a form by its seven-character name.  See p. xxx.

Object Search displays the Object Search form GUIOBJS. This form is used to search for a menu, form, job or QuickFlow with part of the name, description, or type. See p. xxx..

QuickFlow displays the QuickFlow form, GUAQFLW, which is used to access a QuickFlow. See p. xxx..

Select returns control to the calling form and enters the selected value into the calling field.

Rollback returns you to another field, depending on where you start.

Application and inquiry forms – Clears all information (except key information) and returns you to the first enterable field in the key block.

Validation forms – Returns you to the first enterable field on the form.

Query forms – Returns you to the first enterable field on the calling form.

Save keeps all changes entered since the last save.

Refresh clears the message line. See p. xxx.

Print displays the Page Setup dialog box to aid in the preparation of printing the screen.

Exit takes you from where you, depending on where you start.

Forms and windows –  Exits you from the form or window.

Main menu – Exits you from Banner.

Query mode – Cancels the query and takes the form out of query mode..

Exit QuickFlow exits a QuickFlow.

Exit Banner exits you from Banner

Return to Menu returns you to the Menu

Preferences displays the Personal Preferences Maintenance Form, GUAUPRF, which allows the user to personally customize Banner 7.

Last 10 displays the names of the last forms (up to 10) accessed during the present session. Click any of the forms to return to it. Many forms retain the last Key Block information you entered.
