Off-campus Access for Faculty and Staff

Requires Broadband DSL or Cable Connectivity

VPN: "Virtual Private Network "

"Virtual Private Network" connections allow for access through the firewall to all the resources that faculty and staff use on campus. VPN is available for University-owned computers connected with broadband Internet service.

NOTE: THE UMW VPN SUPPORTS ONLY 32BIT COMPUTER OPERATING SYSTEMS. NEWER WINDOWS VISTA MACHINES MAY NOT BE SUPPORTED AT THIS TIME.
