Using Email

The University of Mary Washington utilizes multiple email systems.

For faculty and staff, Outlook, based upon the Microsoft's exchange system, is the email system of choice.

Users have the choice of accessing Outlook by using client software that resides on the desktop, or by using a browser to connect to a web-based interface. With web-based software, you can access Outlook from any computer that has an internet connection.

Students also make use of Microsoft by using Window live where their eaglemail resides at Live@EDU. Live@EDU is a web-based email system offers greater storage capacity and integration with a suite of additional Microsoft products.
