The History of the University of Mary Washington, 1908-2008

Inquiring Minds presents photographs and artifacts from the first 100 years of the school now known as the University of Mary Washington. The exhibition is grouped into sections that trace campus life and student experiences through the last 100 years and seven name changes. Exhibition highlights include the groundbreaking shovel used for the first buildings on campus, student scrapbooks, and many other photographs and publications that help to document the institution's history.
