COC-SACS

The Commission on Colleges of the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools (COC-SACS) is the regional accrediting organization for 11 southern states stretching from Virginia to Texas. Every ten years Mary Washington College undertakes a "self-study" to demonstrate that it complies with all accreditation criteria established by COC-SACS. In the Spring of 2003 a team of auditors and consultants will come to campus to review our study and make recommendations to the Commission regarding our reaccreditation.
