UMW TO HOLD MEMORIAL CELEBRATION FOR LATE ENGLISH PROFESSOR
Fredericksburg, Va. – A memorial celebration will be held at the University of Mary Washington for former professor of English Taddesse Adera on Wednesday, February 22 at 4 p.m. in the Great Hall of the Woodard Campus Center. Dr. Adera passed away unexpectedly on January 17. He had served as a member of the Mary Washington faculty since 1989.
The service is open to the public, and a reception will follow. A scholarship fund has been created in Dr. Adera’s honor. Contributions should be sent to the University of Mary Washington Foundation, Taddesse Adera Scholarship Fund, 1119 Hanover Street, Fredericksburg, VA 22401.
