Mary Randolph Corbin '71 “Ranny” Corbin serves as the Executive Director of University Relations and Communications. Her responsibilities include oversight of the Offices of News and Public Information, University Publications, and University Events. She earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in history at the University of Mary Washington and a Master of Arts degree in history from the College of William and Mary, where she also trained as an editor for the William & Mary Quarterly Magazine. Prior to joining the Office of University Relations, Ranny served as the UMW Executive Assistant to the President for 10 years. |

Lori Klopp Lori began working at the University in July 2006. Prior to that, she worked primarily out of the home, raising her daughter and running a home-based business, and also worked as a substitute teacher. Lori was born in California, raised primarily in Norfolk, Va., and has also lived in Japan, New York, and Texas. She graduated from high school in Norfolk, and went directly into the work force, beginning a 15-year period of employment as support staff in a variety of industries, including shipping, oil and gas, and law. When Lori married in 1990, she began taking classes at Monterey Peninsula College in Monterey, Calif., and in 1994 completed an associate degree in Japanese Studies with the University of Maryland in Yokosuka, Japan, two months before the arrival of her daughter. |

Christie Pugh Christie joined the University of Mary Washington in 2005. Her prior work experience includes 16 years as an office assistant/bookkeeper in a law office, five years as Clerk of the Fredericksburg City Council, and three years as a secretary for the County of Brunswick, Va., where she grew up. She graduated from the University of Mary Washington in 1987 where she majored in business administration. She is a native of Richmond, Va. |
