Robert Tinnell: The Campus head lockmsith does more than just locks. Whenever he is called on to do side jobs in our office, he always comes through. Jobs that are not his duties to do, but to save time for everyone involved, he lends a helping hand. Bob brings laughter with him whereever he goes and brightens our day. Marty Morrison: Marty is always ready to help with a project - no matter how busy she is with her own work. She has pitched in many times this year to help with special projects, including serving ice cream at the Centennial kick-off on her very first day of work! ~Teresa Mannix

We in Purchasing truly appreciate our newly updated web pages, all of the assistance that she gives to eVA users, her innovative ideas, and all of the support she extends to us on a daily basis. Vickie Chapman: Vickie has been a true partner to Purchasing; and a source of dedicated support. The guidance she has given us in training campus buyers is beyond value. Pam Lowery: It was difficult to choose just one of the above categories as Pam epitomizes most of them every day. In addition to Pam's training and supervisory responsibilities, she willingly and without hesitation takes ownership on multiple tasks and projects to ensure effective results. Barbara Mussey: Barbara was promoted to a new full time position this year. She quickly adapted to her new responsiblities and also found the time to train our new part-time employee Kathleen Flanagan on the "art" of application processing. The HR Team: I must take this opportunity to express my sincere apprecation for way the HR staff comes together to deliver services and support to the UMW community. We have been down a staff member for several months, during a very busy time of the year and have had to take on work intensive unexpected projects. Despite their already extended work loads, HR team members join together in a positive and cooperative manner to plan and accomplish our program objectives. Centre Court Employees: The epitome of teamwork: The Business and Finance, Internal Audit, Information Resources, Purchasing, Admissions and University Relations departments were uprooted and moved off campus a little over a year ago. The groups have worked well together in adjusting to their new 'digs' and developing new and better working relationships. Thanks in no small part go to the myriad service departments throughout UMW that have assisted in the transition. It's true what they say, the best part about working at UMW is the people. And at Centre Court, we have awesome people AND parking! ~A happy and well-adjusted Centre Court employee
Ginny Grigsby: Ginny is always willing to assist where/when needed. She has built a efficient and productive team in GW310 and steps in to assist when times get hectic in the Cashier's Office. She works with many outside departments - always with UMW's best interests in mind.

Maintenance Staff: We greatly appreciate Tim Massey and his entire Maintenance staff in their support of capital projects throughout the year. Whether providing project inspection support, coordinating and participating in design reviews, assisting in the relocation of personnel, or final cleanup; the Maintenance Department is an invaluable part of the work that goes on behind the scenes with renovation and construction at UMW.
