Ruth Lovelace: Ruth is safety on the UMW campus!! Thanks for 'looking' out for us and keeping us informed. ~A staff member

Facilities Employees: Thank you to all of the facilities services employees that keep our work place safe by clearing the snow off the walkways in winter, maintaining the buildings' fire alarm systems, and by keeping our work areas clean. You even trim limbs from trees that are likely to fall. Many of your employees arrive at work well before sunrise and often work overtime to get the job done. Thank your high quality of work and dedication. ~ A GW Hall Employee

Beate Jensen: Ms. Jensen took on a huge project this past year and was able to coordinate a safety program for Belmont Staff. She is an attribute to the staff and patrons of Gari Melchers Art Studio....Please thank her for caring!!!! ~Ruth Lovelace

Robert Parker: Robert does a wonderful job seeing to the safety and well being of the campus community.He is a team player and will assist all shops with anything whether or not it is directly related to his job responsibilities. ~Robin Jones

Rob Parker: Having Rob on board in the Safety Office has been a God-send. He sincerely operates with a spirit of teamwork which makes it a pleasure to collaborate with him on projects. Rob is friendly, personable, and dedicated to ensuring the safety of the entire UMW community. ~Your friend in Marye House

Ruth Lovelace: If there is an ordinance, regulation, or any law out there about safety or emergency response, there is but one person on this campus to get the best and most thorough information: RUTH LOVELACE! This woman is an AMAZING source of knowledge and a hoot to be around! Ruth is passionate about her job which is apparent in her refusal to cut corners when it comes to campus safety.
