The University Data Management department is responsible for the management and security of, and access to, the institution’s centralized enterprise data environment. The department provides technical management and support for the University’s enterprise resource planning system, Banner and the university’s enterprise portal system, Eaglelink, among other University data systems.
The department strives to enhance and extend the functionality of existing enterprise systems and to help university offices access, interpret and analyze university data in support of management decision making and overall system and data administration.
The unit is divided into six functional areas:
- IT Project Management Office
- Database Administration
- Applications Programming
- Systems Integration
- Reporting Solutions
- Enterprise Applications Infrastructure
The University Data Management department reports to Nina Mikhalevsky, Vice President for Strategy and Policy, and works closely with the Department of Information Technologies to provide overall IT and project management support to the university community.
