About this building

The Jepson Science Center opened its doors in fall 1998, and is located at the north end of the campus, between duPont and Goolrick Halls. The 75,000-square foot facility incorporates state-of-the-art support systems for science research and study, such as an integral greenhouse for environmental and botanical work. The Science Literacy Center enhances the teaching of interdisciplinary and introductory sciences with its modern computer technology, as do a number of other computer labs. The Departments of Biological Sciences, Environmental Science and Geology, Chemistry, and Physics are located in Jepson.
