Fitness Center and Thanksgiving Break: The Fitness Center will be closing at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday, November 24th for the start of the UMW Thanksgiving Break. The Fitness Center will be closed from Wednesday, November 25th through Sunday, November 29th. Regular hours will resume on Monday, November 30th, opening at 7:00 a.m.

Announcing Wii Soar, the new wii game system located in the WRC. Game options include
Wii Sports and Wii Fit at this time. Anyone wishing to use the Wii system need to leave their UMW ID at the reception desk and a student staff member will assist in the installation of the game disc and providing the use with the appropriate game controller (s). - On March 20, 2009, the FDA expanded its list of tainted weight loss products that consumers shouldn't use or buy. In December, the FDA warned about more than 25 weight loss products that consumers shouldn't use or buy. Now that warning list includes 72 illegal weight loss products the FDA wants consumers to avoid.
