Senior Calendar
August
- Enjoy the last of your summer break! But use the time wisely. If you haven’t already, carefully consider which colleges most interest you and best suit your needs.
- Plan campus visits, and look for college fairs headed to your area in the fall.
- Make a checklist of materials – and deadlines – needed for each school you’re interested in attending.
- Think about who – counselors, teachers, community leaders – you’ll ask to write recommendations.
September
- Choose senior-year courses carefully, and keep your grades up! Lightened senior-year course loads can send the wrong impression to prospective colleges.

- Get started on scholarship applications, paying close attention to deadlines.

- Start filling out applications and having high-school transcripts sent to the college(s) of your choice.
