Life After Mary Wash Internship Fellows Program<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

The Life After Mary Wash Internship Fellows Program is a selective, cohort-based experience for students, designed to help them secure meaningful internships and reflect on what they\u2019re learning along the way. Fellows receive structured support throughout the internship search process, funding to promote access, and opportunities to connect their academic experiences to future career goals. This program is supported by the V-TOP Internship and Work-Based Learning Capacity-Building Grant.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Who It\u2019s For<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

The program is open to students from all majors who are seeking an internship and want structured support, accountability, and reflection as part of the process. The selection process has concluded, and was based on interest, readiness, and alignment with program goals.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

What Fellows Receive<\/h3>\n\n\n\n
    \n
  • A $1,500 internship stipend<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  • Workshops during the spring 2026 semester focused on internship search strategies, professional development, and reflection, as well as other meetings and check-ins<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  • Individual and group support from career professionals<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  • Mentorship and guidance from faculty and industry partners<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  • Opportunities to articulate skills gained through internships and coursework<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  • Participation in a fall Internship Fellows Symposium<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n

      Expectations<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

      Fellows are expected to:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

      • Attend required workshops and cohort meetings<\/li>\n\n\n\n
      • Actively pursue and complete an internship<\/li>\n\n\n\n
      • Engage in reflection and assessment activities<\/li>\n\n\n\n
      • Communicate regularly with program staff<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n
