As a result in order to be eligible UMW students must have completed a 2021-22 FAFSA and have an expected family contribution (EFC).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-group\"><div class=\"wp-block-group__inner-container is-layout-constrained wp-block-group-is-layout-constrained\">\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>A. On 8\/2\/2021 all Pell eligible students enrolled for fall 2021 were awarded $1,000.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>B. Fall 2021: UMW Students who reached out to the office of financial aid with financial challenges as result of the pandemic were reviewed and awarded where applicable.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>C. <strong>Spring 2022<\/strong><br>A tiered distribution plan was established in part from the CARES\/HEERF committee in alignment with the U.S. Department of Education\u2019s guidance. Distribution was based on Estimated Family Contribution (EFC), housing and enrollment.\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Tier 1: 0-5800; $750-$2,000 (Minimum 1 credit)<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Tier 2: 5,801-10,000; $1,000-$1,500 (Minimum 6 credits)<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Tier 3: 10,001-15,000; $500-$750 (Minimum 6 credits)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>D.
