His biography of Darrow\u2014\u00a0 \u201cimpeccably researched, beautifully written, and timely,\u201d said the <em>San Francisco Chronicle\u2014<\/em> describes the career of the limelight-stealing, two-fisted attorney who resigned from corporate law to defend union organizers, powerless minorities, and those accused of sensational crimes.
