How to survive and thrive with the curve balls of life. Not sure about you, but life has not always gone the way I had planned. <\/p>\n

I had some pretty incredible challenges over the last few years, and I\u2019m not saying there weren\u2019t some dark hours, but I found it easier and healthier to think positively, rather than think \u201cwhy me\u201d? Why not me? \u00a0Covid 19 changed a lot of people\u2019s plans and expectations of their work and home.<\/p>\n

I\u2019m used to doing everything on my own, and I\u2019m not great, well terrible actually, at asking for help.\u00a0 Fortunately, a good friend said to let people help you during this time. They want to help. \u00a0\u00a0I took her advice, and it was freeing and made all the difference. It took a number of the stresses I didn\u2019t need off of my plate and gave me the time and energy to work on healing.<\/p>\n

If you focus on the outcome and where you need to get to, it makes all the difference.\u00a0 I think if you acknowledge that it is okay to allow yourself the space to grieve for what could have been, you can move on with how things are now, and your new path.<\/p>\n

Life is a gift. Each day you have a choice on how you want to face the world, how you want to interact with the people you see during the day. \u00a0\u00a0I feel very fortunate that I am here and that you are, too.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
