A panel of judges provided comments and presented the top awards.<\/p>\n<p>Terrie Crawley, a local dentist and member of the UMW Board of Visitors, earned the 2014 \u201cBest-in-Show\u201d as well as \u201cBest Posture\u201d for her rumba.<\/p>\n<p>Florence Ridderhof, who danced a tango, received the People\u2019s Choice Award, presented at a champagne reception following the show. Ridderhof also received honors for the \u201cMost Dramatic\u201d performance.<\/p>\n<p>Other winners announced by the judges were:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Lisa Crittenden, executive director of Loisann\u2019s Hope House, \u201cMost Amazing Moves\u201d for the jive<\/li>\n<li>Janel Donohue, president of Rappahannock United Way, \u201cFanciest Footwork\u201d for the cha cha<\/li>\n<li>Debby Girvan, president of Flair Communication, \u201cMost Graceful\u201d for the foxtrot<\/li>\n<li>John Fick president and CEO of J.F. Fick Inc., \u201cMost Flair\u201d for the hustle<\/li>\n<li>Regis Keddie II, senior vice president of investments at Davenport and Co., \u201cMost Entertaining\u201d for the swing<\/li>\n<li>John Moss Jr., attorney with Rinehart, Butler, Hodge, Moss &amp; Bryant, PLC, \u201cBest Rhythm\u201d for the peabody<\/li>\n<li>John Wack, president of Eastern Sports Management and owner of the Fredericksburg Field House, \u201cBest Costume\u201d for the Viennese waltz<\/li>\n<li>Joe Wilson, owner of Perma Treat Pest Control and a member of the UMW Board of Visitors, \u201cMost Engaging\u201d for the Texas two step<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Darrell Green, Hall of Famer and former Washington Redskin, hosted the evening. Judges included Rosendo Fumero, a professional ballroom dancer and a former U.S. champion in the American Style Smooth open division; Susan Spears, president of the Fredericksburg Regional Chamber of Commerce; and Melanie Kay-Wyant, principal at Walker Grant Middle School.
