Specific tasks for the committee\u2019s work include the following:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Formulating and recommending to the president short-term and long-range enrollment projections for the University and its component colleges and programs;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Compiling and analyzing comprehensive data concerning student enrollment and retention, including data for relevant student subgroups;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Examining existing and ongoing institutional research on student engagement and student satisfaction to determine areas of strength and concern that impact enrollment;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Determining additional research that should be conducted to gain understanding of enrollment and retention issues and ensuring that this research agenda is carried out;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Examining issues of student academic success and persistence and recommending strategies for maximizing student success;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Developing recommended retention goals and strategies for improving student retention;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Monitoring progress toward approved enrollment and retention goals.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-committee-membership\">Committee Membership<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>The committee consists of the following members:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Virginia Ashley, Director of Reporting and Decision Support<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Kimberley Buster-Williams, Vice President for&nbsp;Enrollment Management<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Rita Dunston, Registrar<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Nina Mikhalevsky,&nbsp;Provost<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Jane Huffman, College of Education chair of the Dept. of Foundation<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>David Klein, Class of 2013<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Paul Messplay, Executive Director of Budget and Finance Analysis<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Lynne Richardson, Vice President for Administration and Finance<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Cedric Rucker, Associate Vice President and Dean of Student Life<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Marion Sanford, Director of the James Farmer Multicultural Center<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Debra Schleef, Chair and Professor of Sociology<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Juliette Landphair, Vice President for Student Affairs<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Mukesh Srivastava, Associate Professor of Accounting and Management Information Systems<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Mathew Wilkerson, Director of Institutional Research<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Malcolm Holmes, Director of University Marketing<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Timothy O\u2019Donnell, Associate Provost for Academic Engagement and Student Success<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Melissa Jones, Assistant Dean of Student Involvement<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Melissa Yakabouski, Director of Undergraduate Admissions<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Committee Charge To take a comprehensive approach to the enrollment of students at the University of Mary Washington.
