Returning Students<\/strong>: August 23rd – 24th, 9am – 2pm<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Directions to Campus for Residents of Eagle Landing:<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

From the North:<\/h4>\n\n\n\n

  1. Take I\u201095 South to exit 133A: Warrenton Rd, US\u201017 South business<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  2. Merge off I\u201095 South onto Warrenton Rd, US\u201017 South business<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  3. Turn Right onto US\u20101 South<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  4. Bear Right just before UMW Pedestrian Bridge onto ramp leading up to Eagle Landing<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n

    From the South:<\/h4>\n\n\n\n
      \n
    1. Take I\u201095 North to exit 133A: Warrenton Rd, US\u201017 South business<\/li>\n\n\n\n
    2. Merge off I\u201095 South onto Warrenton Rd, US\u201017 South business<\/li>\n\n\n\n
    3. Turn Right onto US\u20101 South<\/li>\n\n\n\n
    4. Bear Right just before UMW Pedestrian Bridge onto ramp leading up to Eagle Landing<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n

      *All traffic into Eagle Landing will be from the North entrance, which can only be accessed from southbound Route 1.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

      As you approach campus you will see directional signage courtesy of UMW Police and VDOT. Please follow the signs and University personnel\u2019s instructions as you approach.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

      Loading Zones:<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

      Under no circumstances may cars be left unattended in designated Unloading Zones. The driver of the vehicle must remain with the vehicle at all times in designated unloading zones. All cars must be moved from unloading zones to long-term parking by 2 pm. Please follow all verbal instructions from University Staff and Move-In crew.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

      Long term parking locations:<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

      Long term parking is available in the Alvey parking garage (Except top floor), Alvey lot, Thornton lot, and Sunken Road Lot (near UMW Apts). Please move your vehicle to one of these locations when finished unloading on Move-In Day. Students who have purchased parking passes for the Eagle Landing Garage may park their cars on the 3rd-5th floors (passed the garage doors on 3rd floor).<\/p>\n\n\n\n

      Handicap Parking:<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

      Altered parking lot designations on Move\u2010In Day do not apply to spaces designated as handicap parking. Any vehicle parked in a handicap space must display a valid placard.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

      Parking Restrictions:<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

      There is no parking permitted on the first two floors of the parking deck or in front of the retail
      establishments. Parking is also not permitted in the spaces between Eagle Landing and the parking garage except on official move\u2010in days and as directed by UMW Police. Ticketing and towing may occur by Thalhimer who operates Eagle Village and these parking locations.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
