What is the Cost for the Summer Enrichment Program?<\/strong><\/h3>\n

The cost for SEP 2026 is $1200 per student. This fee covers tuition, room and board, meals, courses and course materials, any field-trip transportation, and recreational activities. Please read below to get more detailed payment information.<\/p>\n

How Will Payment Work?<\/strong><\/h4>\n

We will email a payment link to the parent and student email addresses provided on the application after we send out acceptances. Please make sure that emails from enrichment@umw.edu<\/a> don\u2019t go to spam!<\/strong><\/p>\n

A deposit of $300 will\u00a0 be due by April 15, 2026.\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n

The deposit will hold your student’s spot in the program and
\nwill count towards the $1200 total payment.<\/p>\n

You have flexible payment options: pay the remaining $900<\/strong> in full with your deposit, or split it into two payments\u2014$450 by May 10, 2026 and $450 by June 10, 2026<\/p>\n

What Methods of Payment Are Accepted?<\/strong><\/h4>\n

You may pay by electronic check or credit card. Please note:<\/p>\n

ACH (online check payments) will incur a flat fee of .50 cents per transaction.
Charge card payments between $20.00 and $110.00 will incur a convenience fee of $3.00.\u00a0
Charge card payments under $20.00 and over $110.00 will incur a 2.85% convenience fee.<\/p>\n

Is There a Refund Policy?<\/strong><\/h4>\n

If your student can\u2019t attend, you may request a partial refund of $150 from the deposit. We are unable to refund any subsequent payments, as program plans and purchases will already be underway. To receive the $150 refund, you must submit your request by July 11, 2026.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Are there any discounts available?<\/strong><\/h4>\n

Students of UMW alumni, faculty, and staff will receive a $100 discount for a total cost of $1100. There will be a space on the application to indicate this affiliation.<\/p>\n

Students taking at least one course<\/a> in the Exploring Teaching<\/a> track may qualify for tuition assistance. More information will become available soon.<\/p>\n

Currently, we do not have any other discounts available. If we are able to provide merit-based discounts, applicants will be notified of the opportunity.<\/p>\n
