FALL 2000
  • Reviewed SACS alternative research questions to identify A & R committeeÆs role
  • Determined that committee needed to begin by knowing the current status (of administrative organization and financial resources) in order to proceed
  • Identified data needed to know current status (org charts, financial information, master plans already in existence, enrollment histories and projects by programs, etc.) and set out to collect this data
  • Collect some of data identified above and share with SACS Steering Committee
  • Developed draft of Research Questions for A & R
SPRING 2001
  • Established Blackboard site for communication
  • Revised Research Questions for A & R
  • Continued to secure needed data identified Fall 2001
  • Subdivided A & R Committee into 3 subcommittees (Finance, External Agencies, Administrative Organization)
  • Subcommittees developed their own research questions and intended methods of data collection for Fall 2001
  • Reviewed information/recommendations from Missions and New Programs Committee, still in draft
FOR FALL 2001
Once Mission and New Program Committees have final recommendations, then A & R Committee will:
  • Proceed with data collection through 3 subcommittees above
  • Analyze all data collected as a full committee
