• Miscellaneous questions/information

• Questions from Roy Smith's committee:
• How many new programs do we predict for each campus 5 and 10 years from now?
• How many new faculty will be needed?
• We worked on this for approximately 40 minutes. Phil, Meta, and Brenda will meet to finish the task and bring a recommended report to the committee before submitting it to Roy.
• Announcement of Jack Allen's visit on February 12. He is here from SACS to launch our self-study and will meet with the steering committee.
• Larry Penwell's query: How can he support our work? Response from committee:
• 1) Contribute to ideas on business related programs.
• 2) Set up focus groups.

• Discussion of main task: How do we find answers to our questions? Where and how do we get data?

• The committee members who were present offered a prototype for each section. These will be posted by e-mail or Blackboard for total committee input. All committee members should add their suggestions prior to our February 28^th meeting.

• Tasks for next meeting (February 28, 2001, 4 p.m., JMC conference room)
