Katie- Always exciting to hear about fantastic careers and adventures of UMW graduates. An adventure trip to Antarctica in January 2010 with Quark Expeditions opened a world of exploration of the frozen continent to my husband and me. Reading David Campbell’s book The Crystal Desert before we went made the trip so much more special for us from a scientist’s point of view.
