The production is a rock musical comedy about floral shop assistant and amateur botanist Seymour Krelborn who happens upon a strange, rare plant that has a hunger for human blood and flesh. This plant brings Seymour, his boss Mr. Mushnik and their small floral business a great deal of popularity and business. Conflicted, Seymour must figure out how to keep his plant happy and must decide whether the fame and fortune is worth the sacrifice of blood. He believes the plant might be his ticket to fame and fortune, and could help him get Audrey, the girl of his dreams.
Little Shop of Horrors is directed by Gregg Stull, professor and chair of the Department of Theatre & Dance, with musical direction by Angie Benson and choreography by Samantha L. Reynolds.
