We offer students the opportunity to undertake individual or collaborative research projects in the pursuit of a well-rounded liberal arts and sciences education. We are proud to provide several excellent research facilities and collections of scholarly materials to support our students and enrich these educational undertakings.
Our Library
Our services are provided at our physical locations on UMW’s two campuses and online at our homepage.
Simpson Library, located on the Fredericksburg Campus, houses the University’s main collection of over 367,000 printed volumes and a Government Resources Depository Collection, as well as the University Archives and Rare Book Collection.
