Jeff is currently a Visiting Professor in the Computer Science Department at the University of Mary Washington where he teaches coding, computer ethics, and artificial intelligence.
Prior to joining UMW, Jeff was a telecommunications technology and policy executive at the Federal Communications Commission with deep experience in Information and Communications Technology including systems engineering, cybersecurity, critical infrastructure protection, communications reliability, and communications resiliency. Jeff is an expert at leading organizations tasked with analyzing and solving complex technical and policy problems.
Prior to joining the FCC, Jeff was a General Manager at Telcordia Technologies, where he led a business unit with quarterly profit targets. His Business Unit secured and services contracts around the world. In this role he worked across organizational and company boundaries to deliver innovative solutions to cross-domain problems.
