The 19th annual Leadership Colloquium for Professional Women at the University of Mary Washington will bring together women from across the region on Thursday, November 8. The conference, centered on the theme “leading from where you are,” will take place at UMW’s Stafford campus from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m.

Viola Osborne Baskerville, interim chief executive officer of the Girl Scouts of the Commonwealth of Virginia Council, will give the keynote presentation “Power Pumps: Leading with Your Strengths.” Baskerville is a former elected and appointed official with 16 years of service to the Richmond community and Virginia.
The colloquium also will include seminars on various topics, including business etiquette, leadership skills and personal branding.
