Gari Melchers Home and Studio at Belmont will host its inaugural art after hours event, “Art, Corks, Brews and Blues,” on Thursday, Sept. 24.
The event will feature live music on the lawn by The Acoustic Onion, with local beer and wine from Stafford County’s Adventure Brewing Company and Potomac Point Winery, as well as food offered by the UFO Food Truck. The studio galleries will be open for viewing during the event, which will take place from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m.
The performance is free and open to the public. Beer and wine tickets will be available for $5 each with proper identification. Pre-registration is requested.
Support for the event is provided by Stafford County Tourism and the UMW Office of Alumni Relations, which encourages UMW alumni participation to renew friendships and introduce new friends to Belmont, a National Landmark historic site operated by UMW.
