UMW Levels Up in March With Third Round Game on March 14

The University of Mary Washington men’s basketball team will host the third round of the NCAA Division III Tournament on Saturday, March 14, welcoming the University of Wisconsin–La Crosse to Ron Rosner Arena in Fredericksburg. Tipoff is scheduled for 6 p.m.

Mary Washington enters the third round as the fourth overall seed in the tournament and is ranked fifth nationally. The Eagles carry a 26–3 record, the most wins in program history, and are undefeated at home this season (15–0).

Saturday’s contest marks the first time since 2014 that UMW has hosted a third-round NCAA Tournament game. It is also the program’s fifth NCAA Tournament appearance, including its third in four years, and the second time the Eagles have hosted NCAA Tournament action.

General admission tickets will be available in person only at the Ron Rosner Arena ticket booth beginning 90 minutes before tipoff.

• Students (with ID): $10
• Children under 12: $10
• Children under 2: Free
