What is the Cost for the Summer Enrichment Program?

The cost for SEP 2025 is $1200 per student. This fee covers tuition, room and board, meals, courses and course materials, any field-trip transportation, and recreational activities. Please read below to get more detailed payment information.
How Will Payment Work?
We will email a payment link to the parent and student email addresses provided on the application after we send out acceptances. Please make sure that emails from enrichment@umw.edu don’t go to spam!
A deposit of $300 will be due by April 15, 2025.
The deposit will hold your student’s spot in the program and
will count towards the $1200 total payment.
You have flexible payment options: pay the remaining $900 in full with your deposit, or split it into two payments—$450 by May 10, 2025 and $450 by June 10, 2025
What Methods of Payment Are Accepted?
You may pay by electronic check or credit card. Please note:
ACH (online check payments) will incur a flat fee of .50 cents per transaction.
Charge card payments between $20.00 and $110.00 will incur a convenience fee of $3.00. Charge card payments under $20.00 and over $110.00 will incur a 2.85% convenience fee.Is There a Refund Policy?
If your student can’t attend, you may request a partial refund of $150 from the deposit. We are unable to refund any subsequent payments, as program plans and purchases will already be underway. To receive the $150 refund, you must submit your request by the start of the program on July 12, 2025.
Are there any discounts available?
Students of UMW alumni, faculty, and staff will receive a $100 discount for a total cost of $1100. There will be a space on the application to indicate this affiliation.
Students taking at least one course in the Exploring Teaching track may qualify for tuition assistance. More information will become available soon.
Currently, we do not have any other discounts available. If we are able to provide merit-based discounts, applicants will be notified of the opportunity.
