Students who attend other institutions and new non-degree seeking students who have not attended UMW during the last academic year are welcome to attend the summer session.
Admission for attendance during the UMW summer session is not an admission to a degree program at the University. Students wishing to apply for admission to a degree program should contact the Office of Admission in Lee Hall or at the Stafford Campus.
To enroll in summer classes, complete the following forms:
- Summer Session Biographic and Demographic Information form
- Application for Virginia In-State Tuition
- Summer Session Course Registration and Fees form
- Payment of tuition and fees
- Transcripts from other colleges you have attended (if the course you wish to take has a prerequisite(s) that you have had at another college, or if it is a graduate course).
