The UMW Virginia Teacher Scholarship is a tuition scholarship available for Virginia residents who are educators working in a Virginia public or non-public PreK-12 school.

UMW Virginia Teacher Scholarship Criteria:

Be a Virginia resident eligible for in-state tuition.
Have active registration in a UMW graduate teacher licensure program.
Must be an educator working in a public or private PreK-12 school in Virginia (including aides, assistants, and paraprofessionals). Resume required.
Scholarship applications must be submitted and approved at least two weeks before the start of the semester.
