Angela Pitts, Professor of Classics in the Department of Classics, Philosophy, and Religious Studies, earned an M.A. and PhD from the University of Wisconsin-Madison. She is an expert on ancient Greek culture and literature, epic, and gender and sexuality in antiquity.
