Our University of Mary Washington community has a story to tell, a story about students who study abroad in Spain; about alumni who join the Peace Corps and launch businesses; about faculty who bring Think Labs – and the imagination that comes with them – to middle schools.
The point about emotion being a constant in our decision making (as individuals and within the group dynamic) is very interesting. Would love to read the thesis to see if I can use it with my undergraduate, elementary education students as a way of helping them determine how much emotion influences their decision making in their group dynamic–the classroom. I currently try to help them connect how their beliefs influence instructional decisions, but maybe emotions should be more of a focus.
