Timely Warning – April 24, 2026
In accordance with the federal Clery Act, this notice is being sent as a timely warning from The University of Mary Washington Police Department:
There is an investigation through Fredericksburg Police Department at this time reference to a robbery that occurred at the College Heights McDonald’s – located at 1212 Emancipation Hwy, Fredericksburg VA. At approximately 2043 hours it was reported that a robbery had occurred – 2 subjects are being sought in connection with the robbery. 1st subject: darker skinned black male with longer dreadlocks, wearing a long sleeve white t-shirt and dark wash jeans and he had a beard / 2nd subject a lighter skinned black male with shorter dreadlocks wearing a dark blue or black jacket and jeans – he is heavier set. A gun was present at the time of the robbery but not brandished. The direction of travel is unknown at this time.

No additional action is needed and campus is NOT under lockdown. This timely warning is issued to seek information on a suspect.
