UMW provides a variety of conveniently located housing options for its busy students. Residence Life and Housing is now accepting applications for the Spring 2025 term. Read below for information about how to apply.

Spring 2025 Housing Timeline
Wednesday, October 2
Housing and Dining Services Agreement application available via the Housing Portal. Note: If you do not see an application for Spring Housing, contact Residence Life at reslife@umw.edu.

Friday, November 1
Students submitting a Spring Only 2025 Housing and Dining Agreement by this date will be placed in the initial round of spring housing assignments, subject to availability. All applications received after this date will be guaranteed housing and receive housing assignments on a rolling basis.
Housing Assignments and Communication
Housing assignments will be made by Residence Life and Housing and sent to a student’s UMW email address. Spring room assignments are made based on available room inventory. Students applying by November 1st can keep an eye on their email in mid-November to receive their room assignment and other important information about spring housing. Room assignments and roommate information can also be viewed on the Application Status page in the housing portal.
Spring Move-In
New student move-in will take place on January 9, 2025 from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.. New students should check-in at the Eagle Landing Front Desk (located on Eagle Village Drive, Fredericksburg, VA 22401) in order to pick up their key before proceeding to their assigned residence hall.
