What is Professional Development for Educators?
Continuing and Professional Studies focus is to provide the opportunities for growth and development professionally, personally and organizationally. As an office we offer a variety of credit-bearing and non-credit courses for our region’s educators and school personnel. These courses provide just-in-time training and the latest evidenced-based practice to help teachers, administrators, and school staff advance their skills and enhance the assets they bring to their school.
These courses are offered in a variety of modality to meet the needs of our region’s educators. We offer in-person, online, hybrid, hyflex, and custom programming. These programs cover topics in categories such as Classroom Management Secondary, Behavior Management Elementary, Language Acquisition (ASL, Spanish, Arabic), Leadership, STEAM Integration, Special Education Best Practices, Collaboration/Co-Teaching.
