Group Visits and ToursUMW student with bikes

The University of Mary Washington is delighted to host special group visits on campus.  Please fill out the “Group Visit Request Form” (below) so we may assist you in meeting your needs and provide a wonderful experience for you and your students.  Beginning in September 2009 we will begin offering information sessions and tours at 10:30 a.m. and 2:00 p.m. (Monday – Friday).  Please provide information about your travel vehicles so we can arrange for parking close to campus.

If you plan to enjoy lunch on campus at Seacobeck Dining Hall please be aware the reduced rate for groups is $5 per person.  The Sodexho Company recommends groups pay by a single check or charge card to move through the line quickly.  Please indicate on the request form if you would like to have lunch on campus and we will coordinate your details.

Please note UMW recommends at least four weeks advanced notice in order to schedule a group tour and cannot guarantee your visit request will be honored.  A representative from the Office of Admissions will follow up with your request and send confirmation information via email and telephone.  There are convenient driving directions and a downloadable campus map on the visitors’ web page.
