Group Visits and ToursUMW student with bikes

The University of Mary Washington is delighted to host special student group visits on campus.  Please fill out the Group Visit Request form (below) so we meet your needs and provide a wonderful experience for you and your students.  During the Fall and Spring semesters, we offer group information sessions and tours: Monday through Friday at 10:10 am and 2:10 pm.  (Summer tour schedules may vary).  Please provide information about your travel vehicles so we can arrange for parking close to campus.

If you plan to enjoy lunch on campus at Seacobeck Dining Hall, the reduced rate for groups is $5.25 per person.  The Sodexho Company recommends groups pay by a single check or charge card to move through the line quickly.  Please indicate on the request form if you would like to have lunch on campus and we will coordinate for you.

Please note: Special group visits include groups of students rather than individuals participating in a group tour. UMW recommends at least four weeks advanced notice in order to schedule a group tour and cannot guarantee your visit request will be honored.  A representative from the Office of Admissions will follow up with your request and send a confirmation packet.  Please do not make any travel arrangements until you receive confirmation from UMW.  If you have any questions please don’t hesitate to contact Rachel Pennington, Assistant Dean of Admissions at (540) 654-2000 or rpenning@umw.edu.
